The Brief

When famous influencer Alice Abdelaziz approached us, the job was to rebrand a highly successful tanning oil product she had created called WonderTan, and to develop other similar body lotion products.
Given that Alice and her sisters are celebrities in the region, the oil that was launched a couple years earlier had sold out in many locations. This is how high the bar was when Alice hired us to expand the line with new products, and it was a privilege to take on the challenge in building a strong brand that matches Alice’s bold and refined image.

The Solution

Take Me To Wonder was the name of Alice’s blog, and the website that had the most traffic from her fans. So it was a natural decision to opt for it when naming the mother brand, one that would gradually encompass more than just the tanning oil, WonderTan. We then developed a strategy and brand architecture that served as the spinal cord of the brand, able to handle expansion of product lines and live independently from Alice’s prestigious figure. The design guidelines possessed the elements of a timeless brand in terms of colors, bottle’s shape and tone of voice, as we wanted to appeal to everyone in Lebanon or the GCC in addition to her fans and followers.
We were involved in every aspect of the product development from logo and identity to the actual packaging, label design and printing process. We also had the chance to sample test the product as it was being carefully developed. The body lotion line was released in 3 scents: Amber, Honey and Musk.

The Result

The lotions were launched on Alice’s birthday. The event was a lovely celebration for which we designed gift boxes including the 3 lotions. They were distributed to her close friends and representatives from the media. The lotions are now being sold on the TMTW website and a distribution plan for Lebanon and the GCC has been set for summer 2019!
