WonderDay 2018: Starting The New Year On A Great Note!
2018 kicked off with some serious play. On the 5th of January 2018 all Wonderians came together at VOX Cinemas Beirut to welcome the year ahead with a wonderful opportunity to learn, grow, and connect. The team experienced much more than a fun day, as they also got a completely transparent overview of the company’s milestones, business objectives and growth plan. Facts that made everyone feel part of something bigger. Because our mantra is Play Seriously, the day was divided into 2 equally important parts. The first focused on the serious aspects including past milestones, overall growth in-line with the vision, 2018 objectives, and internal structure and processes. This was followed by interactive training on new trends and eye-opening case studies from around the world. This vital ‘seriousness’ went beyond being a break from the daily work routine and deadlines. It was a chance to see how every single project contributes to our overall success and growth. As Boudy Nasrala (Founder) highlighted, “everything we play with has to have a serious result.” The second part was all about play with a teambuilding activity and an invitation to put into practice all the points discussed during the day. Three teams scrambled to create a full 360 campaign in just an hour and a half. They had to race against the clock and to tap into the branding, research, strategy, design, social media, digital activation, app development, and concept creation expertise they have amassed as part of a 360 hybrid agency. The teams then presented their integrated online and offline campaigns to the judges for a chance to win an extra day off. Wonderday reinforced our unique and friendly company culture and was filled with laughter, jokes, interesting debates, and delicious food. It left the team ready to give clients the best complete solutions in branding, marketing, digital, advertising, and communication.
